Third Space Symposium registrations - LAST CALL - Friday 15th
Seriously - we can't extend past then.
Hello third space colleagues (and friends),
Some good news for November - the Third Space Symposium is almost upon us. The Slowposium kicks off this Friday and features more than 50 sessions/sections/presentations (we never did settle on the language for this). 50 things anyway. If you are reading this email, I assume that you are already registered but if you aren’t - the time is now (and it’s free). Join 300 of your colleagues and register for the Slowposium.
We will kick festivities off with launches timed for our Northern/Europe/Atlantic colleagues at 1pm (GMT) and for our Asia-Pacific/Southern colleagues at 12pm AEST (QLD time). Find links in the site when you get access.
Speaking about getting access, we have already set host/presenter/contributors up with their accounts and they have been working with the diligent Slowposium build team (Wendy Taleo, Rowan Peters, Elizabeth Black, Colin Simpson) to get everything set up and looking like a Slowposium should.
Participants - we will be creating your accounts and sending your emails with your login deets this Thursday 14th November. Stay tuned.
Registration for the in-person Symposium (Sun, Dec 1) must close this Friday 15th November. If you haven’t registered by then you will just have to wonder what might have been.
The in-person Symposium will feature more than 20 presentations and interactive sessions, as well as a delightful catered lunch and morning tea for the bargain price of $56. (This is why registrations close on the 15th - the caterers need two weeks notice).
If you want to participate in both the Slowposium and the face-to-face Symposium, please register for each one separately.
Thank you for your interest and support colleagues and a huge thanks to the many volunteers working tirelessly in the background (amid an increasingly tumultuous work environment) to make the Third Space Symposium the success we know it will be.
See you soon
Colin Simpson
